Good stories, like tornados, pull you away from the familiar
and drop you into lands of mystery and magic.
Although my feature articles have appeared in newspapers and trade publications for 25 years, writing was my spare time hobby.
When my husband and I retired in central Florida, I began experimenting with fiction. I credit the talented writers in the Mt. Dora, Orlando and Seminole critique groups for my continuing development.
To my great surprise, my little stories consistently won contests, earned four top awards, and five were accepted for anthologies.
Friends asked me to gather my stories into one publication, so I compiled several award winners and published "The First Seven" on Kindle and Create Space.
